Full use of manifold twin tanks and side mounts are provided free of charge. Oxygen required for decompression side mounts (40 and 80 cft) will be charged at $150 for 8 days (6 diving days) and will be 50% and 100%.
Divers are expected to show their relevant technical diving qualifications at the beginning of the week and must have their own primary regulators. Side Mount regulators can be hired on the boat at $10 per day, per regulator.
After completing the first dive, which will be a technical dive, divers will not be allowed to undertake dive 2 for safety reasons. The remainder of the day will be as per the recreational schedule.
All technical dives will be guided by one of our highly experienced technical dive guides. Rebreathers are welcome, as our guides love a reason to use their rebreathers, and sofnolime can be arranged. Please contact us for prices and to make arrangements.
The following schedule is a proposed schedule and will be subject to change based on conditions. Bespoke schedules can be discussed with the boat manager prior to arrival. For Trimix qualified divers, we are able to facilitate deeper dives but these will have to be agreed prior to arrival and Helium will be charged per litre. For more information about Trimix diving please contact us directly to discuss your requirements: info@cia.com.ph
Day 1:
Shake down dive / 35m Iro Maru
This will be a chance to get used to the twin tanks and side mounts, do a weight check and brush up on planning, skills and drills. There will be a minimum decompression time for this dive as it will be more about blowing off the cobwebs! The rest of the day is as per the normal recreational schedule.
Day 2:
Big Drop Off / 50m – 55m, 25-30 minutes bottom time & required decompression
This dive will showcase one of the most impressive walls in Palau and will also dispel one of the local urban legends that this wall goes on for ever! We will descend down the sheer wall to around 50 or 55m where the wall becomes a steep slope heading off into the abyss. At this depth you will be witness to some of the terrific unspoilt habitat that is rarely seen by other divers.
Day 3:
Blue Holes and Temple of Doom (cave dive) / 40m, 25-30 minutes bottom time & required decompression
This is a spectacular cave that is found within the Blue Holes near Blue Corner. You will enter through a narrow opening which then opens up into a huge cave which is the home of 2 turtle skeletons. The cave has 2 permanent lines laid for safety and extends back maybe 100m or more and is around 40m wide, so not a small cave. All divers will require a minimum of a primary light and a back up light for safety reasons.
Day 4:
Yellow Wall Peleliu / 50m – 55m, 25-30 minutes bottom time & required decompression
This is a spectacular deep drift dive where you will encounter one of the most colourful walls in Palau, be paid close visits by the many resident Grey Reef sharks and also stand the chance of seeing something special as we sometimes are lucky enough to see Sail Fishes and Marlins at this site. After competing our bottom time we will complete our decompression coming up this most beautiful wall.
Day 5:
Blue Corner / 50m – 55m, 25-30 minutes bottom time & required decompression
Experience Blue Corner like never before! After descending outside Blue Holes we will make our way toward Blue Corner at depth enjoying a view of Blue Corner from a totally different perspective than most divers. We will start our decompression by heading up the wall stopping at 18m for around 10 minutes to enjoy the show that Blue Corner always produces.
Day 6:
Siaes Tunnel / 50m – 55m, 25-30 minutes bottom time & required decompression
We will descend outside this popular dive site and head to a depth that recreational divers only look down at! After spending sometime looking for Leopard Sharks and the School of Jacks usually found at this depth we will make our way through the tunnel and out onto the wall where we will complete our required decompression.

All course are TDI (Technical Diving International) courses and are conducted by one of our 2 TDI instructors. All prices quoted are inclusive of the use of manifold twin tanks and side mounts.
